Empowering Women Through Technology & Leadership
Coding Ladies Academy is a non-profit organisation dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology through software engineering bootcamps, hands-on mentorship, and direct pathways to global tech careers.
From Small Online Workshops to a National Movement
Coding Ladies Academy was founded in 2022 by Claude Obiri Amadu, a full-stack software engineer who recognized the urgent need for more inclusive, accessible, and high-impact technology education for women.
What began with modest online coding workshops has expanded into a thriving network of university and regional campus chapters across Ghana and beyond.
Our core focus has always remained steadfast: creating supportive, tuition-free learning environments where women can develop real-world technical skills, gain confidence, and build lifelong connections with industry mentors.
